RAFI  SOGHMONIAN is an Armenian. Like all other Armenian families, his family suffered in the massacres by the Turks in 1915.Rafi  was born in 1967 in the city of Latakia , Syria . And  grew up in the Mediterranean city  . He studied interior design  at  Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts , Armenia . (http://www.yafa.am/en/)
